Waikouatiti Bay Race Results
We had a great day out, starting early with a 7 AM departure from the Club to reach the heads for a 9:30 AM start.
Thanks to Peter Wilhelmsen, we had seven boats on the starting line. The wind was light and right on the nose, which made for a nice sail, although it was slow at times. We rounded the Bay and enjoyed a fantastic downwind sail as the breeze began to build.
Dawn Breaker was the only boat to put up a kite, and it was a very close finish between Telegram Sam and Dawn Breaker for line honors.
